Information About The Post

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is one of the largest sixth form colleges in the country and is situated in Winchester, Hampshire. The Adult & Higher Education Division (AHED) responds to the diverse needs of the wider adult community. Our programme for adults ranges from the development of essential, basic skills, courses for fun and leisure, through to foundation and full honours degrees. AHED aims to provide a second chance for many and the opportunity to advance both in the workplace, socially and academically.

The College is well equipped and we aim to ensure that all students are able to take a full part in college life. The Study Support department provides specialist help to students to enable them to access learning throughout their time at the college. The department is able to offer support for students with specific learning differences, physical and sensory impairments, medical conditions and/or social, emotional and mental health difficulties. Support is bespoke and based on individual needs but may take the form of specialist teaching, in-class support, individual sessions, equipment loans and/or personalised exam access arrangements.

The 7 hours can be quite flexible around individual and business needs, but would ideally be worked over at least 2 days, between the hours of 09:00 and 17:00. Can fit within school hours if this is required.
