About the Role

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for an outstanding teacher to join our College as Head of Politics and develop and secure the best outcomes for our students. Politics across year 1 and year 2 is taught to more than 290 students. You will have an excellent record of teaching to the 16-19 age group and the ability to lead a team of staff to maintain and improve already high standards of teaching and learning. You will be able to demonstrate the impact of successful teaching and some leadership in raising student attainment in your current role and will be joining a supportive team who look to drive standards across the College.

  • Salary: £30,500-£47,133 per annum full time equivalent plus management responsibility allowance of MRBS (currently £2,870) in first year, rising to MRB (currently £4,512) in second and subsequent years.
