About the Role

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Media Instructor to join our busy team. You will assist students with practical work including filmmaking, TV, radio and print production, instructing groups and demonstrating techniques under the guidance of the teacher as well as providing one-to-one support. Other duties include ordering and maintaining equipment. You will have high level practical filmmaking skills and the personal qualities to enable you to work effectively with students.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist students with practical media production (filmmaking, TV, radio, print)
  • Instruct groups and demonstrate techniques
  • Provide one-to-one student support
  • Order and maintain media equipment
  • Work under the guidance of the teacher

Requirements

  • High level practical filmmaking skills
