Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], where you will be working under the direction of teaching staff and instructing students across three Level 3 Film and Media courses and one Level 2 Media course, in order to facilitate teaching and learning.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.

We are looking for a Media Instructor to join our busy team. You will assist students with practical work including filmmaking, TV, radio and print production, instructing groups and demonstrating techniques under the guidance of the teacher as well as providing one to one support. Other duties include ordering and maintaining equipment. You will have high level practical filmmaking skills and the personal qualities to enable you to work effectively with students.

Working 3.5 days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday all day and Friday mornings) and 40 weeks a year (term time + enrolment + 1 additional week).
