About the Role

We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Teacher of Chemistry to start in August 2025. [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester, rated 'outstanding' by Ofsted. The Chemistry department, housed in a purpose-built Science Centre, comprises 13 teachers and technicians supporting around 700 students studying Chemistry A level (OCR A specification). The successful candidate may also teach BTEC Applied Science, with ability to contribute to physics elements advantageous.

Person Specification

  • Graduate in Chemistry or closely allied subject
  • Capable of teaching Chemistry A level (OCR A)
  • Ability to deliver excellent, effective subject lessons
  • Team-centred approach and commitment to student success
  • Newly qualified or experienced teachers welcome
