Hockey Coach

Responsible for running one of the most successful teams in the country, this is a part time position working on Wednesday afternoons, with some additional ad-hoc fixtures played on other days of the week.

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a vibrant sixth form college in Winchester which has been rated by Ofsted as ‘outstanding’ in every respect. We have a large team of committed and talented staff who are at the heart of the success of the College.
The role of the Coach is to organise, supervise and guide the team during weekly organised training sessions and matches. This will include driving to and from fixtures. The contract is for four sessions a week working Wednesdays from 12:00 to 16:00, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the spring term. Some fixtures may fall on other days throughout the year and so some flexibility would be ideal. Additional hours may be paid on a claims basis as agreed with the Head of Enrichment. We hope to be able to offer further contracts in future years.
The successful applicant will have a passion for the sport and a coaching qualification at Level 2 or above and will also either have, or be willing to acquire, first aid and MiDAS qualfications. It is vital that you enjoy coaching young players of all abilities.
