FULL DESCRIPTION

General Practitioner (GP) – Enhanced Access

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Group Ltd is seeking dedicated and experienced General Practitioners to join our Enhanced Access Primary Care Service. This role is available on both a contracted and bank basis, offering part-time hours. Location: Blossom Health, Havant & The Oaks, Waterlooville (alternating weeks). Salary from £67.74 per hour.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high standards of clinical care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of primary care presentations
  • Request and interpret appropriate investigations (e.g. blood tests, imaging)
  • Develop and implement management plans and make referrals to secondary care when required
  • Provide emergency care when necessary, prior to patient transfer
  • Ensure accurate clinical coding to support QOF, LCS, DES, and CQUIN frameworks
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team including Nurses, Paramedics, and Healthcare Assistants

About You

Essential Requirements

  • Fully qualified GP with MRCGP (or equivalent experience)
  • Current GMC registration and inclusion on the NHS Performers List (no restrictions)
  • Experience in primary care and/or urgent care settings
  • Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
  • Knowledge of QOF, LCS, DES, and CQUIN frameworks
  • Excellent communication, organisational, and IT skills
  • Commitment to continuous professional development (CPD)
  • Ability to pass an enhanced DBS check
  • Authorised to work in the EEA/UK

Desirable

  • Experience using the EMIS clinical system
