Technical Support Engineer

Role Overview

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is a world-leading manufacturer of electronic security equipment. We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide technical support and advice to external and internal customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Answering calls from customers and assisting with technical issues
• Managing customer complaints, returns and repairs
• Supporting achievement of company and team KPIs
• Accurate and timely logging of calls aiming for first time fix
• Taking ownership of customer issues and seeing through to resolution
• Research, diagnosis, troubleshooting and identification of solutions
• Providing prompt and accurate feedback to customers
• Ensuring proper recording and closure of all issues
• Promoting company training
• Assisting with building demonstration kits and display boards
• Completing site visits when required

Requirements

• Experience in installation and maintenance of Intruder Alarm Systems
• Good knowledge of current standards for installation and maintenance
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Good computer skills including data entry
• Valid UK driving license

• Experience with Microsoft Office
