About the Company

We design a wide range of multi-award-winning wired and wireless intruder alarm solutions, utilising market-leading technologies developed exclusively by our in-house R&D team.

This is a new role, reporting to the CEO, and will provide key support to the R&D, Finance, Marketing and Sales Directors.

The Role

You will be the HR lead for the office function. Working closely with the Directors and their managerial teams, providing operational and Strategic support driving 'best practice' as the function develops.

Responsibilities

  • Taking overall responsibility and accountability for the management of the day-to-day running of HR within the offices and provide guidance to ensure the delivery of an effective and efficient HR service.
  • Track, collate, analyse and report data around employee relations, thereafter, update the appropriate Director and address demands including but not limited to absence management, discipline and grievances, performance (including performance improvement plans) and capability issues.
  • Work with Talent Acquisition Partner regarding new vacancies, new starters and pre-employment screening
  • To conduct an effective Company on boarding induction for the office new starters. Thereafter ensure a smooth on and off-boarding process within business HR systems.
  • Manage and evaluate the Appraisal process and procedure for the offices. Facilitate the provision of support, for learning and development training after reviewing Appraisals and/or additional training where required to meet the business needs.
  • Effectively manage and provide expert advice on employee relations issues including discipline and grievance, performance management, absence, retirement, health and wellbeing, TUPE and redundancy.
  • Play an active and contributory role within the office management strategy meetings.
  • Maintain administrative employee electronic records System as per best practice to ensure compliance at all times and ensure payroll administration runs accurately.
  • Plan and deliver on all business strategy projects in line with but not limited to people strategy plan and action all project workload as per company timelines.

Key Skills / Experience

  • CIPD qualified to Level 7
  • Experience supporting office employees.
  • Demonstrated proven successes within HR.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • System literate.
  • Excellent interpersonal ability
  • Highly effective planning and organising skills.
  • Excellent influencing, networking and negotiating skills.
  • Be able to work on own initiative.
