Food Production Operative
We are currently seeking food production operatives to work for our client based in Barton Under Needwood. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established and growing company within the food production industry.
- Location: Barton Under Needwood, Staffordshire
- Contract Type: Temporary
- Hourly Rate: £12.71 increasing to £12.94 after 12 weeks
- Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-16:30
- Closing Date: 2026-05-28
Job Description
Food Production warehouse work available for experienced operatives. The role will involve cutting, cleaning, finishing, and packing herbs used in cooking, ensuring all products meet quality and hygiene standards. Candidates must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods throughout the day, as well as working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Experience & Qualifications
- Own transport (due to shift times and location)
- Previous experience within a food production warehouse
- A good understanding of food hygiene and health & safety procedures
- Hardworking, punctual, and reliable with a positive and flexible attitude
- Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
