Job Description

Our client based in Derby is currently seeking an experienced welder to join their small team. Our client stores and supplies scaffolding supplies around Europe. As a welder you will be working with goods on-site to get them cut and ready to go out dependant on clients specification.

Experience & Qualifications

Full UK driving licence and access to own car
2+ years MIG/TIG
Sufficient experience working with different thickness materials
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Massive commitment to safety, quality, and productivity
Ability to hit deadlines and achieve daily production schedules

Required Skills

Strong engineering background with ability to read and interpret engineering drawings/measurements
Experienced in MIG / TIG welding
Proficient in additional fabrication skills, including grinding and fettling
Comfortable working in a heavy engineering environment
