Trainee Researcher, Executive Search

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is looking for a Trainee Researcher to join the Executive Search team, focusing on the US market. This is a full-time, permanent hybrid role based in London, offering a salary of £36,000 - £40,000 per year.

What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting live executive searches focused on senior US-based roles
  • Mapping relevant markets, building longlists, and researching organisations and industry moves
  • Using LinkedIn and other tools to identify senior talent aligned to client briefs
  • Supporting candidate outreach and engagement alongside senior team members
  • Preparing research packs, candidate summaries, and market intelligence
  • Collaborating with experienced Consultants and Researchers to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery

  • A sharp, detail-oriented recent graduate or early career professional with strong people skills
  • Comfortable working flexible hours to support the US market
  • Strong organisational skills - someone who can stay on top of moving pieces and proactively get things done
  • Curious and commercially minded - someone who enjoys researching businesses and understanding what good leadership looks like
