Health Care Advisor

Duties

• Provide guidance and support to patients and their families regarding healthcare options and resources
• Assist patients in understanding medical procedures, treatment plans, and medication instructions
• Coordinate appointments and referrals for specialized care
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care
• Educate patients on preventive care measures and healthy lifestyle choices
• Stay informed about current healthcare policies, regulations, and insurance coverage
• Handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or related field (preferred)
• Proven experience in a healthcare or customer service role
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and healthcare professionals
• Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
• Proficient in using electronic medical record systems
• Ability to multitask and prioritize responsibilities effectively
• Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others
