Cover Teacher
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s Hull Branch is currently looking for a Full-time Cover Teacher to provide support to a Secondary School in Kingston Upon Hull, starting immediately. During your time in the role, you will provide across-the-curriculum support covering lessons in the absence of permanent staff. This position offers flexibility to work when you want and does not require any planning or marking! You’ll essentially be Overseeing the smooth running of lessons by helping struggling students, managing behaviour, and ensuring the lesson plan is delivered to a high standard.
Essential Skills and Requirements
- QTS or other UK-recognised Teaching Qualification.
- Previous Teaching Experience which can be referenced (can include training placements).
- The ability to set high standards and stretch the ability of all pupils.
- A team player who is willing to contribute to the overall success of the school.
- Great rapport builder.
- Excellent planning and differentiation skills.
- Passion for your subject.
- A current Enhanced Child-Only DBS registered with the update service or the willingness to apply for a new one with [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. DBS sponsorship is available for this position.
