A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for a Veterinary Surgeon to join an independent, family run Veterinary Practice in Mansfield. This well-established practice is located in the market town of Mansfield right on the edge of stunning countryside with plenty of nature trails. It is perfect for relaxing walks with easy access to the woodland areas of Sherwood Forest. Close to the M1, the practice is easily commutable from surrounding areas.

After 4 years, one of their team is moving on to pastures new and they are looking for a friendly, confident and committed Veterinary Surgeon to join the practice. They are a single-site, small animal first opinion practice with a very loyal client base. You will be working alongside 3 other very experienced vets and supported by an excellent team of nurses, receptionists, and a practice manager.

You will have clinical independence and encouragement to follow cases through from start to finish. There will also be a flexible balance of consulting and operating, with a varied caseload (including many species of exotics if desired).

Requirements

• Highly motivated, confident, professional, kind and empathetic to both clients and pets
• Good communication skills
• RCVS registered or ability to apply for work visa (sponsorship considered)

Rota

• Full time or part time – 21-36 hour week over 3/4 days
• 1:4 Saturdays (9am-2pm)
• No OOH
• No Bank Holidays
