About the Role

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Account Manager to join our team, specialising in Air Handling Units (AHU). The successful candidate will play a critical role in achieving sales targets, maintaining strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This position involves technical support, strategic sales planning, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver client-focused solutions.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Client Engagement and Support: Solicit client enquiries, provide technical support, and create quotations tailored to client requirements.
  • Order Management: Negotiate orders, ensuring clean order packages are transmitted to head office, with consideration of contract risks, including terms and conditions, customer creditworthiness, and framework agreements.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the AHU UK Sales Manager to implement personal and company-wide sales strategies.
  • CRM Management: Maintain Salesforce CRM for allocated accounts, ensuring accurate record-keeping and reliable sales forecasting.
  • Client Interaction: Attend meetings at customer premises and company offices, as well as host and attend Customer Witness Tests at company factories, including European locations, when necessary.
  • Marketing and Networking: Arrange client-focused marketing and networking opportunities, including CPD presentations.
  • Account Management: Service existing accounts, secure orders, and establish new accounts through strategic planning and organisation of daily work schedules.
  • Competitor Analysis: Provide feedback on competitor pricing, products, delivery schedules, and techniques to inform marketing strategies.
  • Continuous Improvement: Recommend changes to products, services, and policies based on evaluation of results and market developments.
  • Problem Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer complaints, develop solutions, prepare reports, and recommend improvements to management.
  • Professional Development: Stay updated on industry trends and developments by attending workshops, reviewing publications, networking, and participating in professional societies.
  • Team Contribution: Support team efforts by achieving related results and undertaking additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Experience

  • Proven sales experience, preferably in the HVAC or technical engineering industry.
  • Strong negotiation, organisational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM or similar platforms.
  • Ability to provide technical support and develop client-focused solutions.
  • Willingness to travel, including internationally, as required.
  • Self-motivated with a results-driven approach.
