Key Duties

• Project liaison from enquiry stage to final acceptance, including client meetings and site surveys.
• Instructing, directing, and allocating work to Trade Operatives & Apprentices with attention to quality, productivity, and safety.
• Ensuring technical information is available for design and construction delivery.
• Interpreting and checking drawings, specifications, and schedules; preparing final documentation (As Built Drawings).
• Early identification and resolution of non-conformance in design and construction.
• Managing design of systems and products to align with specifications.
• Completion of contract documents and management of project quality deliverables.
• Input to tender, design, and construction programmes with progress updates.
• Subcontractor liaison and management including tender specification, quotation, and H&S documentation review.
• Preparation of Construction Phase Health and Safety Plans with Principal Contractor responsibility under CDM.

What You Need

• Qualification to degree / HND/ HNC in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience working in a Hazardous Environment, preferably Chlorine Gas or Methanol Dosing.
• Proven track record in Project Management with an Engineering or Supervisory background.
• Good time management and ability to multitask, plan, and organise workloads.
• Good communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to interpret technical instructions.
• Knowledge of tools, equipment, and materials common to Mechanical and Electrical Engineering trades.
• Drive to work individually and with teams, with innovative thinking and ability to learn new technologies.
• Ability to prioritise and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
