Mechanical Design Engineer - Hazardous Environments

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer for their Chemical & Biological Treatment business platform on a permanent basis. This role involves supporting DSEAR related projects across the UK as part of a multidisciplinary design team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete design aspects of projects from inception to implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with Client specifications and current regulatory standards.
  • Prepare work scope estimates/quotations.
  • Assemble contract works information documents.
  • Consider project health and safety, quality, and environmental matters.
  • Liaise with all key stakeholders for the projects.

Requirements

  • Degree/HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • CompEx 12 qualified.
  • Experience of working in a multidiscipline design team.
  • Experience of working at all design stages is highly desirable.
  • Possess the ability to work on multiple projects consecutively.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
