Payroll & Benefits Manager

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Manager to join our UK & Ireland team. This is a permanent, hybrid role based in London with a salary of £50,000 - £60,000 per annum plus bonus and benefits.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance to HR Business Partners and managers on compensation decisions, policies, and best practices.
  • Line management of the Payroll & Benefits Coordinator.
  • Oversee administration of employee benefits programmes (pensions, healthcare, life assurance).
  • Manage and execute payroll for corporate and retail employees.
  • Support design and maintenance of compensation strategy, including incentive schemes and bonus plans.
  • Ensure compliance with HMRC, National Minimum Wage, Equal Pay, and Gender Pay Gap reporting.

Your Background

  • Experience with compensation modelling tools like Willis Towers Watson or MERCER.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and advanced Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of HMRC auditing, legislative updates and regulations.
  • Experience devising compensation structures such as commission schemes, LTIPs, and pension structures.
  • Seasoned payroll management expertise.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
