Psychological Therapist – schools

Location: Greater Manchester area

Contract: Permanent (52 week working)

Hours: Full-time (part-time considered)

Salary: £37,602 - £45,426 per annum (term time)

About the Employer

This employer is an independent leading provider of specialist care and education. They work with children and young people in either an educational and/or residential setting who present a complexity of needs including developmental trauma, neuro-developmental conditions, autism, ADHD, and special educational needs.

Role Snapshot

The candidate appointed will be joining an MDT who work with pupils and residents (6-16 yrs old). This role will be based across specialist schools, children’s homes and integrated provisions. The post holder will be working across care and educational settings helping to develop trauma informed practice.

Experience Required

  • HCPC registration or BACP accreditation (those working towards accreditation considered)
  • Experience working with young people who present with neurodevelopmental needs such as Autism, SEMH, ADHD and learning disabilities
