Nursery Manager – Leytonstone, London, E11

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Nursery Manager for a preschool in Leytonstone. Salary: £19.00 per hour (£21,660 per year pro rata). Permanent, term-time (38 weeks), 30 hours/week (Monday–Friday, 8:00am–2:30pm).

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our welcoming preschool in Leytonstone, London. Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day management of the preschool
  • Provide strong leadership to a team, promoting a positive and supportive culture
  • Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings
  • Develop and implement a high-quality, ambitious curriculum
  • Ensure consistent high standards in teaching, learning, and care
  • Support staff development through structured training programmes
  • Strengthen adult-child interactions, particularly communication and language
  • Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, maintaining strong self-evaluation and improvement plans

Requirements

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Commitment to inclusive practice and child development
  • Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and external professionals
  • Eligible to work in the UK
