Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Nursery Manager to lead our friendly team in Liss, Hampshire GU33.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a newly developed private nursery where you can make a real impact. This is a predominantly room-based role with some administrative responsibilities, making it ideal for a hands-on Nursery Manager who is passionate about supporting children’s development while leading and inspiring a team. Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the nursery
  • Maintain and update nursery policies and procedures
  • Monitor children’s development using Famly and support learning outcomes
  • Support the Deputy Manager with staff rotas
  • Ensure the health, safety, and wellbeing of all children
  • Build strong relationships with parents, children, and staff
  • Support team development through supervision and training plans
  • Balance room-based responsibilities with administrative duties

About You

  • Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
  • Previous experience as a Nursery Manager
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  • Good knowledge of safeguarding and regulatory requirements
  • Passion for high-quality, child-centred early years practice
  • Experience building parent relationships and supporting occupancy growth
  • Eligible to work in the UK
