Salary: £19.00 per hour | £21,660 per year (pro rata)
Hours: 30 hours | Monday–Friday | 8:00am–2:30pm
Contract: Permanent | Term Time (38 weeks)

We are looking for a passionate Nursery Manager to join our welcoming preschool in Leytonstone, London. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced early years leader to drive quality, support staff development, and lead a dedicated team in delivering outstanding childcare and education. Our setting is community-focused, providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment where children thrive through a balance of structured learning and child-led play. The successful Nursery Manager will lead the day-to-day running of the setting, ensuring high standards, strong leadership, and continuous improvement across all areas of provision.

Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day management of the preschool
- Provide strong leadership to a team, promoting a positive and supportive culture
- Conduct staff supervisions, appraisals, and team meetings
- Develop and implement a high-quality, ambitious curriculum
- Ensure consistent high standards in teaching, learning, and care
- Support staff development through structured training programmes
- Strengthen adult-child interactions, particularly communication and language
- Prepare for and lead Ofsted inspections, maintaining strong self-evaluation and improvement plans
About You
- Minimum Level 3 Early Years qualification (full and relevant)
- At least 5 years’ experience as a Deputy Manager or Nursery Manager
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Commitment to inclusive practice and child development
- Excellent communication skills with parents, staff, and external professionals
- Eligible to work in the UK
