Job Introduction

We are now seeking a Marketing Assistant to join our team at The Scottish Parliament Edinburgh, Scotland, EH99 1SP

Join our team in a unique and high-profile Government & Agencies environment, supporting the delivery of digital and marketing activity across the Scottish Parliament contract. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in enhancing customer experience through digital engagement, marketing campaigns, and innovation.

Working closely with onsite teams and management, you’ll support the development and delivery of marketing plans, manage digital content, and help drive engagement through our consumer platforms.

What you’ll do

  • Support the delivery of digital and marketing activity across site
  • Monitor and report on app performance and customer engagement analytics
  • Respond to and manage customer feedback via digital platforms and live chats
  • Support the rollout and growth of the consumer app across site
  • Coordinate digital screen (signage) content across outlets
  • Support digital innovation projects and new platform implementations
  • Work collaboratively with stakeholders to improve customer experience

What you bring

  • Degree or postgraduate qualification in Marketing, Communications, or a related discipline
  • Experience supporting or delivering digital marketing campaigns
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Confidence working with stakeholders and operational teams
  • Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital platforms
  • A proactive, solution-focused mindset with a keen eye for detail
