About the Role

We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our IS&T function and lead the successful delivery of complex technology projects. Reporting to the IS&T Portfolio Manager, you will take full ownership of planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget.

You will coordinate cross‑functional teams, third‑party suppliers, and business stakeholders to ensure every project aligns with strategic objectives and delivers measurable business value. Working within our governance framework, you will define project scope, manage risks, maintain quality standards, and ensure clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the end‑to‑end delivery of IT projects, ensuring full documentation, governance, and successful transition into BAU.
  • Provide strong leadership to project teams, acting when performance deviates from agreed tolerances.
  • Plan, schedule, monitor and report on project activities using approved methodologies and tools.
  • Maintain effective project control, change control, risk management and testing processes.
  • Manage project budgets, resources and stakeholder expectations.
  • Ensure projects deliver tangible business benefits and align with strategic goals.
  • Support project boards, assurance teams, and governance committees.
  • Prepare project reports, dashboards, and documentation in line with IS&T standards.
  • Collaborate with other Project Managers to share best practice and drive continuous improvement.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Professional qualification (PMI, APM, Agile PM, PRINCE2).
  • Experience managing full lifecycle IT projects across infrastructure, software, and third‑party applications.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and leadership skills.
  • Knowledge of project and programme management methodologies, including agile.
  • Understanding of ITIL, SDLC, ISO9000, ISO27001.
  • Experience translating customer requirements into functional and operational specifications.
  • Proven ability to manage complex stakeholders and communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and forward‑planning capabilities.

Desirable

  • Degree‑level education.
  • Experience delivering SAP or ERP projects.
  • Full driving licence and valid passport.
  • Ability to obtain Security Clearance (SC).
