Kitchen Porter at Heritage Portfolio
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a Kitchen Porter for the [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] team at the Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh. This is a part-time position with a salary of £13.45 per hour.
About the Role
As a Kitchen Porter, you will provide and maintain an efficient, clean, safe working environment in all kitchens and back of house areas. You will follow responsibilities as defined in the cleaning schedule.
What You’ll Do
- Comply with all Company & client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
- Maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the service yard.
- Maintain the upkeep and tidiness of the outdoor kitchen and equipment.
- Receive and check in all cleaning and disposable goods.
- Maintain a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
- Keep all work areas and surfaces clean and tidy.
- Ensure the kitchen is closed to the highest level of cleanliness.
