Hospitality Staff for The Open Golf Championship 2026

We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to fill various hospitality roles including Plate Waiters, Wine Waiters, Bar Staff, and Food & Drink Runners. The event runs from 14th July to 19th July 2026 with flexible shifts between 6:30am and 10pm. Pay is £12.71 per hour. Must be at least 18 and able to commute to Royal Birkdale.
About the Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are currently recruiting for Hospitality Staff, to join us at this year’s Open Championship, taking place at Royal Birkdale - Southport. We are currently looking for individuals who possess strong interpersonal skills, a positive work ethic and a willing approach to tasks. You will be a bubbly, enthusiastic and personable individual who has a desire to deliver the best customer service to contribute to the guest’s incredible Hospitality experience. Please note that you must be available for the full duration of the event, from 14th July 2026 to 19th July 2026 inclusive, and be flexible to work between the operational hours of 6.30am – 22.00pm, on either an early, mid or late shift.

The rate of pay for all above roles, for this event is £12.71 per hour.
Attributes We're Looking For
- Strong customer service skills and ability to converse with guests
- Excellent team player
- Ability to listen to instruction and act efficiently when completing tasks
- Eagerness to learn new skills
- Exceptional eye for detail
- Ideally some previous experience in the food & beverage industry
