About the role

As a casual supervisor at Greggs, Manchester Central Hospitals, you will motivate your team to ensure our customers receive great products and friendly service every visit. This role carries significant responsibility, overseeing the daily operations of the shop and its fantastic team while on shift. Your priorities will include food safety, hygiene, shop standards, team training, and delivering high-quality, fresh, and tasty products to our loyal customers. You'll also serve our customers, ensuring their needs are met and that they’ll come back wanting more!

We’re looking for our Shift Supervisor to have previous people/team management experience in a similar retail environment. If you’re looking to progress your retail management career, this is an excellent opportunity to do so with a growing company.

During a typical shift you can expect to:

  • Inspire the team to deliver amazing results and maintain the excellent standards of the shop
  • Lead by example and serve our customers in a fast and friendly manner
  • Prepare our much-loved products, including making sandwiches and managing the ovens
  • Ensure our displays are fully stocked at all times, with plenty of choice available for our customers
  • Keep the shop looking clean, tidy and presentable
