About the role

We are looking for a reliable and proactive Compliance Operative to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance or engineering experience who enjoys a hands-on role focused on safety, compliance and high service standards. You will support the delivery of planned maintenance activities, routine inspections and compliance tasks, ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and in line with company and statutory regulations.

What you'll do

  • Complete planned and preventative maintenance tasks as directed
  • Carry out routine compliance checks, inspections and PAT testing
  • Complete risk assessments and work safely at all times
  • Maintain accurate records of work completed, materials used and time taken
  • Keep tools, equipment and PPE in good working order
  • Report progress, issues and updates to management
  • Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues
  • Follow all health, safety, environmental and company procedures

What you'll bring

  • Previous experience in a maintenance, facilities or technical environment
  • Practical engineering or maintenance knowledge
  • Good understanding of health & safety and safe systems of work
  • Ability to manage workload independently and meet deadlines
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Good attention to detail and record-keeping skills
  • Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and complete training
