About the Role

As a Cleaning Supervisor at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], based in HM Naval Base Portsmouth, PO1 4QT, you will be entrusted with overseeing cleaning services that help create a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for all. This site serves as home to our armed forces personnel, and your work will directly contribute to enhancing their quality of life.

  • 40 hours per week
  • Monday to Friday 06:00 - 15:00 (some evening/weekend work required)

What You’ll Do

  • Lead and motivate your team to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed on time and to a high standard.
  • Maintain cleanliness in offices, kitchens, toilets, and communal areas.
  • Manage inventory and order supplies like cleaning products and consumables.
  • Champion health and safety practices, conducting regular safety checks and reporting hazards.
  • Provide ongoing feedback and support to your team.
  • Deliver excellent customer service.

What You Bring

  • Experience in cleaning or a supervisory role.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with attention to detail.
  • Full UK Driving License (minimum 2 years).
  • Continuous UK residency for last 3 years.
