What You'll Do
- Carry out all cleaning tasks across designated areas as directed by the Cleaning Supervisor or Workplace Manager.
- Follow cleaning schedules to ensure all duties are completed to a high standard and within required timeframes.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards, ensuring all areas are safe, tidy, and presentable.
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals correctly, following COSHH guidelines at all times.
- Adhere strictly to colour coding procedures to prevent cross-contamination.
- Wear the correct uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times.
- Comply with all company and client policies, including health & safety and security procedures.
- Report any faults or issues with cleaning equipment promptly.
- Respond positively to reasonable requests and support wider team operations when needed.
- Complete all required training to ensure safe and effective working practices.
What You'll Bring
- A reliable and hardworking approach with a strong commitment to high cleaning standards.
- Basic literacy and numeracy skills to follow instructions and complete tasks effectively.
- Good understanding of health & safety practices (including COSHH) or willingness to learn.
- Attention to detail, ensuring all tasks are completed thoroughly and to a high standard.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to schedules efficiently.
- A flexible attitude to meet the needs of the role and respond to changing priorities.
- Good communication skills and a professional approach when interacting with others.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- (If applicable) Previous cleaning or customer service experience.
