About the role

We are looking for a motivated and customer-focused Food Service Assistant to join our team on-site in Leyland. This role plays a key part in delivering a high-quality food service experience for both staff and guests, while maintaining excellent standards of food safety, hygiene, and customer care.

You will support the day-to-day delivery of food services, assisting with meal preparation, service, and ensuring a clean, safe working environment.

What you'll do

  • Deliver excellent customer service to all staff and visitors
  • Prepare and present food to a high standard
  • Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and service areas at all times
  • Follow all food safety, allergen, and hygiene procedures
  • Support daily checks such as temperature records and stock control
  • Comply with all health & safety policies, including COSHH and safe working practices
  • Work collaboratively with the wider team and support management as required

  • Basic understanding of food safety and hygiene
  • A flexible and reliable approach to work
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
