We currently have an opportunity for Casual Food Service Assistant to join our amazing team. This is a great opportunity for driven individuals to succeed in a fast and innovative catering facility. No two days are ever the same at our zoo! As a Food Service Assistant, you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team delivering exceptional service across our vibrant hospitality outlets — including restaurants, cafés, kiosks, and special event spaces. This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where you’ll play an important part in creating memorable experiences for our visitors.

What you'll do

• Welcoming and hosting guests with a warm, professional approach
• Taking orders and serving food and beverages efficiently
• Preparing barista-style drinks and other beverages
• Operating tills and handling payments accurately
• Setting up and closing down service areas
• Maintaining cleanliness and food safety standards at all times
• Supporting kitchen and front-of-house teams as required

• Being proactive is key
• Experience within a hospitality, catering or bar setting not essential
