About the Role

We’re looking for a reliable and friendly General Assistant to join our team at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]. In this role, you’ll support daily catering operations, help deliver excellent customer service, and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.

What you'll do:

• Serve customers with hot and cold food and drinks (barista training provided)
• Assist with basic food preparation, including sandwiches and salads
• Clean kitchen areas, including appliances, countertops, crockery, dishes, pans, and floors
• Use kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
• Receive and organise deliveries, ensuring stock is stored correctly
• Monitor expiry dates and rotate stock accordingly
• Ensure correct temperatures are maintained for hot food
• Report any maintenance issues or damage promptly
• Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of cleaning chemicals and protective equipment
• Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised workspace
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members
• Complete tasks efficiently in line with daily schedules

What You’ll Bring

• Previous experience in hospitality or food service is helpful but not essential – full training will be provided
• A positive, can-do attitude and strong communication skills
• Good attention to cleanliness and hygiene
• A team-oriented approach with a willingness to support others
