About the Role

You will supervise a team, manage rotas, ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations including COSHH, conduct quality audits, and maintain service level agreements.

  • Supervise and coordinate day-to-day cleaning operations across office, laboratory, and controlled environments
  • Allocate tasks, manage rotas, monitor staff attendance and performance
  • Ensure cleaning standards meet SLAs, KPIs, and site specifications
  • Carry out regular quality audits and performance checks
  • Train, support, and develop team members
  • Enforce Health & Safety procedures including COSHH, safe systems of work, and PPE usage
  • Manage cleaning materials and equipment stock control
  • Complete documentation and compliance records accurately
  • Report incidents and maintenance issues promptly
  • Act as key contact for client and internal stakeholders

What You’ll Bring

  • Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in corporate, laboratory, or regulated environments
  • Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, compliance, and H&S regulations (including COSHH)
  • Experience managing teams, rota planning, performance monitoring, and training
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
  • Proactive approach with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
  • Relevant qualifications such as BICSc, NVQ Level 2, or IOSH/COSHH certification are desirable
