Cleaning Supervisor

About the Role
As a Cleaning Supervisor at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will lead cleaning operations at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] in Horsham. You will supervise a team, manage rotas, ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations including COSHH, conduct quality audits, and maintain service level agreements.
- Supervise and coordinate day-to-day cleaning operations across office, laboratory, and controlled environments
- Allocate tasks, manage rotas, monitor staff attendance and performance
- Ensure cleaning standards meet SLAs, KPIs, and site specifications
- Carry out regular quality audits and performance checks
- Train, support, and develop team members
- Enforce Health & Safety procedures including COSHH, safe systems of work, and PPE usage
- Manage cleaning materials and equipment stock control
- Complete documentation and compliance records accurately
- Report incidents and maintenance issues promptly
- Act as key contact for client and internal stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
- Previous experience in a cleaning supervisory role, ideally in corporate, laboratory, or regulated environments
- Strong knowledge of cleaning standards, compliance, and H&S regulations (including COSHH)
- Experience managing teams, rota planning, performance monitoring, and training
- Excellent organisational, communication, and leadership skills
- Proactive approach with attention to detail and problem-solving ability
- Relevant qualifications such as BICSc, NVQ Level 2, or IOSH/COSHH certification are desirable
