Salary: £13.80 per hour | Type: Full-Time – 40 hours per week | Closing Date: 15 May 2026
About the Role
We’re looking for a motivated Front of House Catering Supervisor at St Leonards School, St Andrews, KY16 9Q, to lead the team and deliver high-quality service. You’ll support day-to-day catering operations, hospitality events, and ensure excellent standards across service, safety, and customer experience.
What you'll do
- Supervise the Front of House team to deliver service in line with client expectations
- Support daily catering operations and hospitality events
- Work closely with the Manager and Executive Chef to ensure smooth service
- Schedule staff and support recruitment and training
- Manage stock levels and assist with ordering
- Ensure equipment is prepared for events and services
- Act as Allergen Champion and maintain food safety standards
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and presentation
- Monitor health and safety compliance and report incidents
- Respond to customer feedback and support continuous improvement
- Support kitchen or counter service when required
What You’ll Bring
- Experience in a catering or hospitality supervisory role
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Experience with stock control and customer service
- Attention to detail and commitment to high standards
- Level 2 or 3 Food Hygiene qualification
