FULL DESCRIPTION

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a General Kitchen Assistant at Stourport High School and VIth Form College. This is a permanent, part-time (27.5 hours/week) term-time-only role with a salary of £12.71 per hour.

About the Role

As a General Kitchen Assistant at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal], you will support the day-to-day running of a busy food service operation. You'll assist with preparing and serving food, maintaining clean and hygienic kitchen and dining areas, replenishing food displays, handling deliveries, and following all food hygiene and safety procedures. This role requires a full manual driving licence and comfort driving a van.

What You’ll Do

  • Assist with preparation and serving of food and beverages
  • Maintain clean, safe and hygienic kitchen and dining areas
  • Replenish food displays and service counters
  • Support deliveries and store supplies appropriately
  • Follow food hygiene, health and safety procedures
  • Provide friendly and helpful service to customers, colleagues or visitors

What We’re Looking For

  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Good organisation and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a busy environment and prioritise tasks
  • Previous catering or food service experience is helpful but not essential – full training provided
  • Must hold a full manual driving licence and be comfortable driving a van
