About the Role
As part of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]'s I2020 account, we are seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to lead statutory and mandatory compliance across our Client's estate. This is a site-based role at i2020, Belfast, offering the opportunity to manage compliance within a complex operational environment.
Reporting to the Senior Assets & Facilities Manager, this role ensures all assets, systems, and operational activities comply with Northern Ireland legislation, regulatory standards, and contractual obligations.
Note: This role requires security clearance, and candidates must have lived in the UK for at least five years.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Compliance function, establishing governance frameworks, priorities, and performance standards
- Ensure compliance with NI legislation, Client requirements, and ISO standards (9001, 14001, 45001, 50001)
- Oversee statutory compliance across fire, asbestos, gas, electrical, water hygiene, lifting systems, DSEAR, and CDM Regulations (NI) 2016
- Maintain audit-ready compliance registers, schedules, certificates, and documentation
- Manage compliance risks, including assessment, mitigation, and integration into operational planning
- Monitor performance trends and produce monthly dashboards, KPIs, and reports for the Client
- Ensure contractor and supply chain compliance across the estate
Candidate Profile
- Degree (or equivalent) in Compliance, Engineering, Facilities Management, Health & Safety, or related discipline
- Chartered membership (IWFM, CIBSE, IOSH) desirable
- Proven experience managing multi-discipline statutory compliance in FM, property, or public sector estates
- Experience with audits, inspections, assurance activities, and CAFM systems
- Strong analytical, organisational, and stakeholder management skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement
- Must meet UK security clearance requirements and have resided in the UK for at least five years
