What You’ll Be Doing

  • Prepare, cook, and serve high-quality meals in a busy catering environment
  • Deliver consistently excellent food standards for military personnel and staff
  • Maintain the highest levels of food safety, hygiene, and kitchen cleanliness
  • Ensure full compliance with EHO guidelines and sanitation best practices
  • Work closely with front-of-house teams to create a seamless dining experience
  • Support exciting special events and high-profile functions
  • Assist with bulk cooking while maintaining quality, consistency, and presentation

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous professional chef or cook experience in catering or hospitality
  • Strong knowledge of food hygiene, safety, and health regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy, team-focused environment
  • A genuine passion for cooking and delivering exceptional service

Desirable (but not essential):

  • Experience within military, MOD, or government catering environments
  • IOSH qualification or equivalent
  • Working knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Recognised culinary qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2, NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Professional Cookery
