In brief
We’re looking for an experienced data scientist with strong technical skills and a track record of delivering data science solutions in the UK public or private sectors. You will be responsible for designing and delivering data science projects for our clients and will have opportunities to contribute to [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]’s growing data science capability.
The role
This role combines hands-on technical work with consultancy. A Senior Data Scientist will:
- Scope, design and deliver high-quality data science projects end-to-end for our clients, owning technical delivery with limited oversight.
- Support our Principals in exploring & shaping client opportunities.
- Support technical quality with code and design reviews and by sharing best experimentation practice.
- Contribute to data science growth across our organisation as an active member of the Data and AI capability, supporting and sharing best practice with junior colleagues.
- Help shape how [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] approaches data science: tooling, methodology, use case evaluation, and governance.
This is a technical role and does not include formal line management responsibilities.
About You
You are a data scientist with proven expertise in the following:
- Data analysis and predictive analytics
- Computer vision
- Natural language processing
- MLOps and productionising models
- Expert knowledge of Python ecosystem and core data science libraries, along with relevant tooling on major cloud platforms (PyTorch / TensorFlow / Keras, Scikit-learn, MLflow, Azure ML / SageMaker / Databricks).
- Strong understanding of statistics, bias, AI ethics and model governance.
- Excellent communication skills.
What We Offer
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] operates transparent pay scales and a profit share scheme. Base salary: £59,400 – £78,800. Average profit share: £5,750 – £11,250. Benefits include pension (additional 5% of salary), 25 days annual leave, cycle to work, electric vehicle lease schemes, and more. Hybrid working – on average 3 days in person per week.
