[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] was formed in September 2017. This saw the federation of Valley View Primary School and Hedworthfield Primary School in Jarrow. The federation has been incredibly successful, and the schools are both thriving as a result of the partnership formed.
The Governing Board of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] are seeking to appoint an Assistant Head Teacher to the senior leadership team.
Role Responsibilities
- Responsibility for curriculum and teaching to ensure exceptional standards of quality first teaching for all pupils, professional development for teachers and teaching assistants and positive outcomes for all
- Phase leadership of a key stage
- Subject leadership in line with the skills of the applicant
The successful candidate will be able to teach across key stage 1 and 2 to a high standard. They will have secure subject knowledge in primary maths, English and curriculum pedagogy and practice. The post is class based with appropriate management release time weekly.
