Job Details

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is South Tyneside's provision for pupils with severe and profound learning difficulties. We provide an appropriate curriculum for pupils aged between two and nineteen. The school opened in September 2012. The curriculum is tailored to pupils' educational needs and provides enhanced services for children, families and other professionals.

We wish to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teacher. We need someone who will facilitate and encourage learning which enables pupils to achieve the highest standards in academic progress. In addition, you would work with families and other professionals to develop pupil independence and life skills.

Requirements

  • Experience of working with pupils with learning difficulties is essential.
  • Applicants must be prepared to work at both sites and across any key stage, as and when required.
  • Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
