The Governors and Head Teacher of [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] would like to appoint a caring, reliable and enthusiastic Lunchtime Supervisory Assistant to join our friendly staff team. You will help ensure our pupils have a safe, happy and enjoyable lunchtime, in the dining hall and in the outside areas.
Main duties:
- Supervise pupils during the lunch break in the dining areas, outside areas and other parts of the school.
- Encourage good behaviour and positive play during lunchtime OPAL sessions.
- Support pupils with eating and social interaction.
- Report any accidents, incidents or concerns to classroom staff.
- Promote the school's values and safeguarding policies at all times.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of working with children and young people in a formal setting on a voluntary or paid basis.
- Has a positive, caring attitude.
- Can work well as part of a team.
- Is reliable, punctual and committed.
- Has good communication and interpersonal skills.
