PMO Administrator - Barnsley

[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is hiring a PMO Administrator based in Barnsley. This is a permanent, full-time role within the Ambulance Radio Programme (ARP), focusing on service delivery projects for UK ambulance trusts.

Job Summary

This exciting role is for those people who have a thirst for service delivery projects whilst keen on having a real impact on how the UK manages its emergency communications services. This role will work on projects in the ARP Service Programme, focusing on service delivery to ambulance Trusts including the introduction of a new Service Partner, Service Desk and associated ITIL processes, a new support process for Control Room positions and the transition of support for radio terminals to new suppliers.

Main Duties

  • Manage booking of events, accommodation, and travel for ARP colleagues
  • Support wider team with general administrative duties
  • Support planning and execution of full team meetings
  • Arrange and book training courses
  • Carry out other tasks/duties as directed
  • Promote equality and inclusion
  • Participate in personal development activities
  • Attend supervision and appraisal sessions

About the Employer

Salary & Benefits

Person Specification

Essential

  • English and Maths GCSE at grade C or above
  • Some experience of clerical or administration processes
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint and Outlook

Desirable

  • Experience of working within a busy office environment
  • Previous experience with invoicing
