Clinical Integration & Development Manager (Gloucestershire)
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Clinical Integration & Development Manager to provide clinical leadership across Gloucestershire. This permanent, full-time role involves leading system integration, improving care pathways, and reducing conveyance to Emergency Departments.
Main duties of the job
- Lead assigned system integration workstreams in line with Trust strategy and priorities.
- Work with commissioners and providers to develop, support and optimise the availability and capacity of Single Points of Access (SPoA), alternative community and hospital pathways.
- Support delivery of clinical referral optimisation, including hear and treat, see and treat, and community pathway utilisation.
- Be a key member of the Integrated County Clinical Team (ICCT).
- Reduce variance in key clinical metrics including see and treat rates and on-scene times between operational areas.
- Support the implementation and development of Care Coordination Hubs and system processes for Category 2-5 performance.
- Develop and maintain effective working relationships with ICS partners, community providers, and system operational leads.
- Develop clinical guidelines, SOPs and associated documents based on the latest evidence base.
- Lead on new and revised clinical interventions being implemented into practice.
- Monitor, analyse and report on system referral activity, performance and outcomes, identifying trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Contribute to the development of system-wide service improvement and transformation initiatives.
- Participate in an on-call rota relevant to their knowledge, skills and experience.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications
- HCPC registered clinician or equivalent professional background
- Educated to degree level (level 6) or equivalent experience
Essential Experience
- Significant experience working in an operational or clinical healthcare environment
- Experience of leading projects or workstreams to delivery
- Substantial experience as a practising clinician within the pre-hospital setting (minimum 5 years post registration)
- Significant senior leadership experience with a proven record of effectively leading teams
- Experience of collaborating with senior stakeholders
- Experience of collaborating with clinicians to lead and manage change
- Experience of writing papers on complex issues to inform decision making at senior level
Salary & Benefits
Salary: £57,528 to £64,750 a year (per annum, indicative). Agenda for Change Band 8a. Permanent contract. Full-time working pattern. Additional benefits include NHS pension, car leasing scheme, and staff discounts.
