FULL DESCRIPTION
Diabetes / Health Educator – North East and North Cumbria
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] ([Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) is hiring a Diabetes Health Educator for the North East and North Cumbria area. This is a zero-hours, on-site role delivering the EMPOWER programme to patients. Rate: £18 per hour.
The Role
- Delivery of the EMPOWER programme to patients.
- Delivery of face to face courses within the advertised area and occasional video courses.
- Ensuring EMPOWER programmes are delivered in accordance with curriculum, syllabus, educator handbook, lesson plan and service Operating Manuals.
- Ensure delivery of the EMPOWER programme in accordance with all [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] policies and procedures.
Who We Need
- You are a clinical/non-clinical educator with experience in teaching/training adults.
- You are an enthusiastic self-starter, understand the importance of promoting self-care and an ability to support patients in achieving positive change.
- You work autonomously, are reliable, punctual and a confident communicator.
- You must be located within the area, own a car and be in possession of a UK driving licence.
