Role
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] Solutions Engineers are responsible for the technical elements of the sales cycle. As a Solutions Engineering Intern you will be based at the location specified in your contract of employment. Over the course of your internship you will gain [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] skills, certifications, and domain knowledge.
Key areas of exposure
- Delivering standardised technical product webinars
- Undertaking technical discovery calls with prospects
- Delivering consultative presentations, demonstrations and workshops
- Owning the technical strategy for opportunities
- Determining appropriate form of Solution Validation
- Creating custom demonstrations based on customer use-cases
- Responding to technical elements of tenders (RFI/RFPs)
- Answering technical questions from prospects and customers
- Making general recommendations on Splunk solutions architecture
- Identifying and managing technical issues throughout the sales lifecycle
Requirements
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Interest in technology and how it can be used to solve business problems
- Enthusiasm for solving interesting problems
- European languages are desirable
Education
You are currently in university and ideally about to start your final year following completion of the internship.
