Manufacturing Quality Engineering Technical Leader at [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]
[Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineering Technical Leader to own the strategy, implementation, and governance of manufacturing quality programs. This role drives systemic improvements and ensures consistent product excellence across manufacturing partners, NPI projects, and site moves.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish, implement, and manage comprehensive manufacturing quality programs, policies, and QMS governance.
- Conduct vendor audits, track performance metrics, and coordinate corrective actions.
- Lead root-cause investigations and maintain Process FMEAs (PFMEAs).
- Improve manufacturing line quality, support New Product Introductions (NPI) and site moves.
- Develop data sets into factory quality monitoring systems and assess partner performance.
- Collaborate with Supply Chain Operations and Design Engineering.
- Drive systemic solutions and proactive risk management across manufacturing sites and suppliers.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical, mechanical, industrial engineering or related discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in quality and/or manufacturing engineering.
- Experience managing PCBA and FATP production line quality issues.
- Experience leading a team within manufacturing engineering or quality engineering.
- Expertise in process, factory/vendor audits, new product quality planning.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong communication and influencing skills across technical and executive stakeholders.
- Proven capability in setting and maintaining quality standards.
- Experience evaluating manufacturing partners’ performance.
- Passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
- Experience supporting manufacturing test engineering and debugging.
