About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Plumber to join our Maintenance Department. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of plumbing services across [Employer hidden — sign up to reveal] properties and grounds.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out plumbing installations, maintenance, and repairs, including water supply systems, sanitary ware, heating systems, drainage, and waste pipes.
  • Investigate and address boiler faults, escalating issues where necessary.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy working environment, including workshops and material stores.
  • Assist other trades and staff when required.
  • Ensure school vehicles and tools are properly maintained and used safely.
  • Participate in the Emergency Call-Out Team when needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • ✔ Qualifications: City & Guilds Apprentice 6189 (Plumbing & Domestic Heating) or NVQ equivalent
  • ✔ Sound knowledge of general plumbing and maintenance practices
  • ✔ Ability to read and follow instructions
  • ✔ Knowledge of health and safety regulations
