Chaperones

We are looking to appoint on-call Chaperones to drive and accompany pupils to medical appointments and other appointments as and when required. You will need to have a full clean driving license and an empathetic approach with pupils. Mileage will be covered to and from site ([Employer hidden — sign up to reveal]) whilst attending appointments.

Contract type: Zero Hours

Hours of work: Variable

Salary: £10.57 per hour (7am-7pm), £13.77 per hour (7pm-7am)

Location: Buckingham, Buckinghamshire

Job Overview

We are looking to appoint on-call Chaperones to drive and accompany pupils to medical appointments and other appointments as and when required. You will need to have a full clean driving license and an empathetic approach with pupils. Purpose of the job

To be on call if a pupil needs to be accompanied to and from a hospital or clinic appointment if the Matron is not available to do so.

Key Tasks

  • To act as the responsible person when transporting and accompanying the pupil to a hospital or clinic appointment.
  • To await the outcome of the appointment and return the pupil to the School.
  • To update and report to the medical centre and/or designated contact on progress and developments during the appointment as necessary.
  • To have a mobile phone with them at all times when on duty.

Conditions
